A day of seasonal cooking, learning lots of new technique and making a full feast for lunch. They will all make something delicious to take home to share.
On this mid summer class teens will be making;
Greek street food - Souvalaki. This includes classic marinated chicken kebabs, homemade pitta, tzatziki, hummus, quick pickled red onions, sweet pickled cucumbers. We will pile high our stuffed pittas for lunch.
All classes include an element of knife skills and the use of food processors and kitchen machinery under supervision.
Teens will make a delicious sweet treat to take home to show off and share. This is subject to change but has included double chocolate brownies, chocolate hobnobs, chocolate dipped honeycomb, and meringue kisses.
No previous experience is necessary but a keen interest in cooking really helps.
